Hello everyone!
My blog - http://www.yoyonation.com/yoyo_news has very very slow load times. The other pages on my site (www.yoyonation.com) do not suffer the same issue.
I've tried googling for an answer, but haven't come up with anything solid. Many sites point the issue towards the pinging, rss/xml feeds, and embedded media.
Any suggestions please?
Again the site is http://www.yoyonation.com/yoyo_news
Many thanks
Weber

There's lots of graphic load going on with all the images appearing in your blog posts. One option would be to decrease filesize of those images. Another would be to cut the # of posts (and so # of images) showing on your main blog page.
You should also consider the lack of dimension info in your <img> tags. Without that information browsers have to wait for the images to load, discover their dimensions, and then draw the layout of the other elements.
If you include the dimension of the image browsers can then draw the other elements before the images have finished loading.
This also lets the user see at least something loading during the wait ;')
