   Our blog is running extremely slow on the front and back end. We've contacted our hosting solution (media temple) and they claim that the issue is not with our server (which we upgraded once already to try and solve the issue.) We've since added a cache plug-in which has helped a bit but we still find the site is much slower than it should or we'd like.

   Any suggestions on how to optimize site performance?

   Any suggestions on third-party developers that can review and modify our code to improve site performance?

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
