SlideShow Pro is not loading the correct XML document (3 posts)

I'm working with a trial version of SlideShow Pro to try and integrate it with NextGen Gallery.
I modified NGG FlashViewer to generate the necessary XML and pass the correct FlashVars to SWFObject, which I use to load slideshowpro.swf.

BUT... when I examine traffic using FireBug, I see that SSPro is still looking for the default images.xml file, which is what it uses without extra params.

I DID get this working once, but I can't seem to repeat it. I don't understand why it won't work again.

I'd really like to get this working, since NextGen Gallery is a great way to manage photo galleries, and SSP is a wonderful way to display them...
I've got the relevant page up here:

You should ask the Slideshow pro people, don't think it's a issue of NGG

  3. Are you using an absolute pate to your xml file in ssp? You might have to put the swf in the same directory as the xml.

Nevermind, I just checked out your site and it looks like its working great.

I just installed next gen and would rather use ssp. What modifications did you have to make to next gen to get it all working?
