Hi, you probably have a theme or plugin conflict that is breaking the slideshow. Can you post a link to the site you’re working on?

    Hi,

This is a total noob issue; please forgive my appalling ignorance.

I have a site that was developed by someone else – I know just enough about WP to be dangerous. I wanted to replace a static image on the site with a slide show. A quick search indicated that Meteor Slides would be a good fit – simple & cool; just what I wanted. I checked out the video tutorial here to get started. Seemed simple.

I went through the entire process, but the test page I was working with kept coming up blank. You can see the results (or lack of them) at http://www.tesseract-design.com/test-2

My first indicator that there would be trouble was when I installed the plugin. Instead of adding a “Slides” section to the WP control menu bar, it added some more options to a menu item that was already there – one called “FlexSlider.” There are also some other slide-y menu items as well: Elastic Slider, LayerSlider WP, & Revolution Slider. I’m wondering if this has something to do with the WP theme. If it does, I’m sunk, because I don’t understand that thing at all.

Anyway, any help that you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    -Crawford
