When ‘!slideshow_deploy!’ is shown, you should go to your slideshow settings and set ‘Avoid content filter’ to ‘No’.

The technical story of this, is that most WordPress installations filter their content and therefore ruin the output of the slideshow in posts. Showing !slideshow_deploy! is output to get around the filter, but if you see it, your content is siply not filtered and you don’t need the work around.

Your second problem is caused by a script in your theme. A piece of script, ‘slider-hero’, can’t find its element and thus throws an error: ‘Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'cycle'‘. This error cancels all javascript actions and therefore the slideshow script stops working as well.

If you know you don’t use this piece of script, you could simply delete it to fix the problem.

    Hello,

I just installed your slideshow plugin and need assistance please. My images are showing up in slideshow as 25% of image size. When I go to edit and confirm image size, it is 599 width x 258 height in WP. Can you please help with this setup? Thanks so much!

The slideshow fits images to its own size. If an image is bigger than the slideshow’s container, it will be reduced in size so it doesn’t fall off. You could set the slideshow to a bigger size using its settings, if you want the image to be bigger.

By the way, please make sure you post your question to the right topic. If you can’t find a thread that matches the topic of your question, please create a new thread.

Thanks for your prompt response. I appreciate it!
