slideshow gallery to use in a WP MS (9 posts)

I use a nice slideshow gallery in a network WP MS.

It works very well, but the problem is that it saves the images in /wp-content/uploads and NOT in /wp-content-/blogs-dir/id-site

So, despite it works very well, I can't use it at WP MS.

Can you recommend me a similar plugin?

    Thanks!

  2. A good slideshow gallery shouldn't be uploading your images, but using the ones you attach to the post.

    Which one are you using?

  4. Depending on what features you need, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slideshow/ and http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack come to mind.

Jetpack has a lot more going on, but one of its components is a slider. Slideshow is what I used elsewhere for ages :)

Is this the plugin you are talking about
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slideshow/?

    It has this issue

This plugin hasn't been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

    ....

Jetpack is very complete, but It is neccessary to connect with wordpress.org? I have to find out. Thanks a lot!

  6. The 2 year thing isn't an issue, just a notice for you. It still works.

But do you think this kind of plugins that are not maintaned puglins and they have not guarantee operation into new versions wp ... also are not adaptaded to new browsers.

However I trust on your opinion :) I will try it.

    Thanks a lot!

    NextGEN Gallery is good also!

I do plugin reviews here, actually.

It really just means 'This plugin hasn't been used in 2 years.'

There's no guarantee that any plugin will work with new versions of WP, or even your install of WP. It's just not something we can do, giving the myriad ways people set up servers.

Honestly? Try it. If it doesn't work at all and gives you errors, go back to the plugin page, press the 'Does not work' button, and give it one star :)
