   Hi,

   I am using nextgen-gallery in my website http://www.holidaysatindia.com/ since last 6-7 months and I update nextgen-gallery recently and slide show has stopped working since then.

   Can anyone here suggest me a fix for this.

   I've just installed the NextGen plugin, but I may have the same issue as madhusudan and mmagenta because it's the 1.7.4 version.

   I'm trying to use it as a widget in my sidebar.

   The simpler widget which just calls random images is working fine, but not the slideshow - I just get the loading icon.

   I discovered I needed to install imagerotator.swf which I hadn't realised before [doh] Details here if you scroll

   Got it working fine. Unfortunately image rotator needs a commercial licence for comm site so had to switch it off for client, but it did work ok.

   I did the imagerotator.swf bit already - I just put the one swf file loose in the NextGen folder, was that right?

   Yes. Thats right. Bit you also have to tell the plug in where to look for it.

   In WP go to OPTIONS in gallery. The click slideshow along the top.

   Then you have to tell it location in "Path to the Imagerotator (URL)"
   I just clicked SEARCH and it found it fine. Then started working from there. You can edit settings here too.
