Slides frozen until i cycle through all of them

    I have a really strange problem… The slider works normally, other than the fact that it stays locked on the first slide, until the full cycle through all of the slides has completed. To clarify, I currently have three slides, and they do not change at all until I click either arrow three times (or use the arrow keys). This applies to any amount of slides (ie. Five slides means that it will be frozen until it’s cycled through all of them)

    I’m not getting any errors in the js console, I’m using the wp standard jQuery 1.8.3, I’ve tried moving the scripts up into the header (they are definitely after the css regardless), I’ve tried using smaller images for the slides (I thought maybe it was an issue with loading the images slowly), I’ve tried disabling the few scripts I’m using, but none of this is getting me any close to the cause…

    Hi Nick,

    Thank you for using my plugin, and I apologize for the trouble you’re experiencing. That really is a bizarre problem you’re having. Interestingly when I visit the site, my primary browser is Chrome, I can never get the slideshow to work at all, even after cycling through the slides.

    Troubleshooting this is probably going to be a pain. Start by disabling your other plugins one by one, testing after each one, to see if it’s a plugin causing the issue. If all of the other plugins are disabled and it’s still causing trouble, it’s probably your theme, but change to a different theme, like twentyten or twentytwelve to see for sure.

    Once we have the cause of the conflict, we’ll be able to start narrowing down to how it can be fixed.
