sliders not showing on the advanced search page

The sliders on the advanced search page aren’t showing, and firebug is telling me this:
TypeError: $sliderElement.slider is not a function
$sliderElement.slider( options );already checked if it’s loading jquery and jquery ui etc in the right order, but that’s all going well.
