slider featured posts not showing up in Home

    Hi, lovely theme!!! And I see you are very good with support 🙂
    I can’t make the featured slider + row of posts show up in Home (static page) – empty or with some text in page: nothing.
    I’ve tried ‘standard-template’ and ‘full-width’.
    The posts are marked ‘sticky’, the featured images are set.
    I see ‘Custom field’ layout_key + post_slider_check_key are there (I didn’t touch these): do I have to define something else?
    I haven’t activated other ‘slider/slideshow’ plugins yet.
    I have a child-theme.

    I’m testing other things, you may not see ‘expound’ up, but I can activate it any time. I’d love to use that theme rather than others.
    I’m keeping a constant eye on this support thread, in case you answer.

    ps: other themes/sliders function fine, so by now I think it’s not ‘the configuration’ or some other host vagary. I’m doing something wrong in Expound, it seems. Can’t find what.

    Have you tried setting the Home page to show Posts?

    Q: If I must find a plugin (custom slider, pages and posts), how do I get the it to show up on top, while keeping the rest as is – in boxes beneath, which is fine

    “Posts” only.
    Simply put, the theme uses the sticky feature to display the content in the Home page. The are arranged by the date they were created, so you can use that to control which ones are displayed and the order in which they appear.
    Try to keep to the same question in each thread so that it can be marked as Resolved and then start a new thread for each new question, so that the replies are focused on that issue.
