Hi krisbird,
thank you for your kindness.
It was not supposed to happen…
I’m a bit confused about your question, could you please provide me your website link with an example?
Thank you in advance!
If you visit bird-brains.com and navigate to any of the child pages under Portfolio (Trade shows & conventions, community, and/or black tie).
Hmm, that’s really weird…
What page do you have as Front-page set on Settings > Reading menu?
This large slider is only supposed to be showen on Front-page.
Front page displays = A static page
Front page: Home
I am really trying to understand what is happenning here, it seems like Trade Show, Community and Black Tie pages are working as front-page, but as far as I know, there is not way to set more than you page as front-page.
Do me a favor, edit one of those page and change its default template to full-width to see what happen.
Hrm…that’s odd. Setup the Trade Show page as full-width, don’t think it did anything though. Also tried it on portfolio setting.

Yes, that’s odd.
I am almost sure that Trade Show, Community and Black Tie pages are using the front page template, but I can’t figure out how you managed to make four pages as front page, as long as you can have only one front page (as far as I know).
And as I could notice, it’s not a child page issue, since you have “Resume” page working well as child…
Thinking….
If you create a new page (Pages > Add New) and add it as portfolio child (Parent > (choose) Portfolio) the same will happen with that page?
Created new page under Portfolio – same occurrence.
Going to try to make a new “portfolio” page and see what will happen if I move the sub pages.
That worked. So it might have been something with the original parent. Which is still odd, but I’ll take it.
I appreciate your assistance with this today. 🙂
You’re welcome.
I’d appreciate if you could let me a review
😉
