   I'm having trouble with a site here: http://beta1.voicecms.ca/airsaintpierre/ I'm trying to add a slider to the home page but both LIs are set to display:none and nothing is changing. I just added the latest jQuery but that didn't help. I don't see what could be wrong in my functions.php file since there's no jQuery in there. The only other plugins installed are the Custom Admin Branding and Yoast SEO ones. Can someone help me figure this out?

   Never mind. I was missing <?php wp_footer(); ?> from my footer. That seemed to fix it.

   Yes, that is key to have Soliloquy and a lot of other plugins working correctly in your theme. :-)
