Please could you try disabling the other plugins you have installed? See if it works (it hopefully should..), then re-enable them one by one. Hopefully you’ll be able to narrow down the conflict to a single plugin. Let me know which plugin it is and I’ll take a look to see what the problem is.
If it’s not working even with other plugins disabled, please could you send me some admin login details (http://www.metaslider.com/support) and I’ll take a look.

I I have exactly the same problem as described here.
I disabled all the plugins and still not save images in the slider
The site is new as wp, I’m testing the Vantage theme. Obviously the slider is new too.
I erased all images of the slider and I got back up them under another name. neither works

It seems that the error is mine (Or of my WordPress installation -which in any way is my mistake-)
Since I had not entered any post (I had only pages), I did not realize that it was not possible to assign categories to the posts.
I’ll do what you suggest me: Uninstall the wordpress and start over.
I will try again using the Vantage theme and your Meta Slider plugin, because I really think it’s great 🙂 but I promise to you that I will check first if I can enter the posts to categories.

Quick update on this (agza has been in touch).
The root of the problem was it was impossible to tag posts to categories (Meta Slider uses the same functionality to tag slides to slideshows).
I didn’t manage to figure out why, but I suspect it could be the rules that BulletProof security added to .htaccess. Even when Bullet Proof is disabled, the rules are still there, so it wasn’t as simple as disabling that plugin and testing.
If you’re having similar problems, check you can add tags and categories to standard Posts, if you can’t then you’ll need to find out why – try disabling plugins
A clean install of WordPress seems to have fixed it.
