Slider and Page Problem (2 posts)

I am using a free template called "Boldy" from a company called Site5. In order to use the slider correctly the theme directions say to create a page and upload the slider photos onto that page. Then when you go to the theme options page all you have to do is chose that same page under the slider preferences and it does the rest of the work by parsing the images into the different positions on the slider.

I can get the slider to work properly. The problem I'm having is that when you create a new page, the page shows up in the header area as an actual page for visitors to click on. I tried making the page privately published; however, then I am not able to chose it in my theme options page for the slider.

I'm not sure how to hide the page with the images so that it doesn't show up on my blog and also be able to have it show up in my theme options page so that I can use it for my slider.

    Any suggestions will be helpful.

Here is how the slider should look... Boldy Demo

Here is my site right now... CampusLance

    Thank you.

I use this plugin to do just that: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exclude-pages/
