As Priyanshu mentioned, the demo is that of a premium version.
It comes with an xml data file. Importing the xml file will setup the wordpress as shown in the demo.

I thought so. You may want to make that clearer in the docs, so people don’t waste their time installing something that doesn’t do what the demo shows.
Can you point me to the section which you find ambiguous?
The panel clearly mentions that there is a pro version which supports additional features like Sliders etc.

The theme homepage for the lite versions clearly shows a slider.

There’s no mention of differences between the lite and pro versions at http://webriti.com/ (no mention of the lite version at all.

That’s only seen after installation. The only demo is of the pro version and no documentation of the what’s missing in the lite version. You have to install it to find out which is frustrating.

I agree that the slider is frustrating.
Additionally, how can I make the favicons linkable? (ie, to send an email, click ‘here’, that kind of thing.
