How do you get the slider to work?

I downloaded soliloquy, to get a code. I then downloaded a HTML widget and pasted the code inside the html widget and slotted it into the SLIDER slot in widgets. But now the slider image is smaller than the top menu bar (and I did adjust the width in soliloquy.

Am I doing it wrong?

You can actually do it with a shortcode using this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-widget/

Activate that plugin (or something similar)
Create your slider
Copy/paste the shortcode into the widget area using that plugin

If you ever decide to upgrade to Soliloquy Pro, it comes with a widget you can also use for easier access. Hope that helps!
