Slick forms and Slideshows no longer work/suspect jQuery issue

I know very little about this kind of stuff but based on conversations I’ve had my jQuery has been unistalled-no idea how. How can I reinstall? Any quick, easy (for a neophyte)fixes or new plugins to add that would fix the issue???
