[resolved] Slashes multiplication in Manage Taxonomies (8 posts)

    Hi, when i'm editing taxonomies there's slashes in front of each ' and they multiply each time I edit it. A stripslashes has been forgot ?

    If you could please, could you screenshot which field specifically, also confirm that you're on at least 0.7.

    Confirmed all issues with the escaping of the single quotes. Trying to think of a good way to get around it and push the solution to you.

    I can say that you'll probably need to avoid the single quotes in the taxonomy slug. It's invalidating it completely. I'd suggest replacing it with a "-". Bit ugly I know, but it'll help solve part of the problem.

    I'll probably tackle this today, and push it up to our main development area in Github. If you're game, once I have it figured out, you can download what will be CPTUI 0.8 which has a lot of updates/fixes.

    To help me debug, are you using single quotes, or a special character in those spots?

    No problem i'll try 0.8 just post here when it's ready, and i'm using single quote, if you want some help you can reach me via Skype @ jonathanlaf i'm gonna be really faster in my answer, and I have an idea of what the problem is !

    Alright, here's a snapshot of the code as of right now. I would normally link to the zip that github provides, but we don't have proper release tagging at the moment, and i'd be adding changes to the url's zip as I do more work.

    Version 0.8 fix the issue of the slashes in front of quote ! Thanks for your quick help and developpement Michael.
