Skirmish author tag and hiding tagline from browser

    Hi,

    I have two questions about my site http://www.tackfilms.fi. I have made it with the Skirmish theme.

    1) I would like to get the author (poster) name to show on the front page. Now it only shows up once you click on the post. How can I do this?

    2) I would like to keep the tagline as it is in the blog, but would like for it not to show up in my browser header. Is this possible?

    I am new to WordPress and have managed to do some stuff with CSS, but know nothing about Html, so it would be greatly appreciated if you would keep this in mind when posting the answer.

    I managed to solve problem number one, but haven’t figured out the second one, so if anyone can help – much appreciated. 🙂
