When IntenseDebate is installed and enabled, it seems to conflict and compete with the Akismet plug-in running on the web site.
I see on my dashboard...

There is 1 comment in your spam queue right now.yet the two spam my site was protected from, and the 1 comment in my spam queue, do not show up in the IntenseDebate control panel.
