    Hellow all,
Has there been a solution to why the size options don't take in the contact form tags? I see a lot of people having this problem and solution was to add entry's to css page.
I am hoping for a more solid solution though.
    I am using tag like this <b> [text* field-name 50/50] </b>
I am using a large number so i can see the change but i have tried numbers ranging from 1 - 4000 and none have shown so far.

    thanks,
    dogdaynoon

    well...
i guess that the only work around since the tags don't work is the css option.
unless someone says otherwise i will leave this thread open until there is a solution to this problem.

The overall size of the form elements is generally controlled by the CSS in your current WordPress theme rather than the "size" you use in the Form section of the CF7. This refers to the standard HTML size attribute which may or may not control overall element size.

Use Firebug or Chrome Dev Tools to first understand and then change the CSS used for your CF7 form elements.

    well hello there.
I understand that the stylesheet controls the pages layout.
I used chrome to see what the settings were on the form text boxes before i went looking for how to set them.
I saw that there were no size styles set. I changed the sizes inside the contact form 7 tags which, from how i understand the help file, will add a style to the element. Which it does not.
I added the css to my stylesheet and it works now.
However... the contact form tags do not work to change the width or sizes of any of the elements.
This is a great idea and would save a lot of manual css customization.
