    Hi:

I'm sure this is an easy fix.

I set up a network with 13 sites. All are working fine. All are available under Network Admin - Sites.

But, all are not available in the drop down or when I'm in the Dashboard and I am looking for My Sites. I only see the ones avail in the drop down.

I ran into an issue before where I had to create a second user other than the super admin on different sites so that they would get added to the drop down. I did that for all of them, but now I'm still not seeing them.

Is there a setting for them to show in drop down and Dashboard - My Sites that I am not seeing?

    Please help, thanks.

Sites will only show in My Sites if you have been added as a user for that blog, even if you are a Network Admin. Add your Network Admin account as a regular user to each blog and they will appear in your My Sites.

Great, thanks for that. All working now.

That's not really documented anywhere, I don't think.

Yes, it is. Click the help tab on that screen.

"This screen shows an individual user all of their sites..."

    Ah, I found it:

Basically, you must add the network administrator to see all the sites.

I was adding other users in the network, but not the main admin. This solves the issue.

Yes, I did check the help tab after you mentioned it. I never check the help tabs. Maybe I should start. :)

You can already see a list of all the sites in the network under Network Admin -> Sites. :)

The My Sites is intended to show you just *your* sites, as we established. ;)

If you need access to the backend of various subsites from the admin bar, get the snack bar plugin.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/snack-bar/

It;s extremely handy for that and you don;t need to be added to every site.

    Hey Andrea:

Yes, I know this is true, that you can see all your sites under Network Admin - Sites.

What I didn't realize, and now I know to be true, is that the ADMIN of the network can only view all sites under Dashboard - My Sites, if the Admin has made themself a user of each site in Network - Sites - "Site 1" - Users.

While I created sites new sites under my user name "web****", it was adding a single user to the new instances that was different from the admin user, therefore hiding those sites from my view until I added my "web*****" user name to each one.

If you do not make yourself, as the admin, a user in the new site instances, the Dashboard view will not display the site.

That is documented on the codex, but not under the help tab.

    Tony
