As it says in the title:
this morning my Site Stats page was working perfectly. Now, when I try to log into it (which I probably do over-often), I am redirected to the log-in page in an endless loop.
Have tried logging out and logging back in
I have tried quitting Firefox and restarting. Haven't powered down the computer and re-started 'cos I need it working just now, but that's next - unless anyone has any better ideas?
It may be incredibly sad to want to see who's coming on, but it cheers my working day...

I've been having the same problem. I can't even login to WordPress.com without getting the same loop.
Any idea what's going on?

Came to the boards to make sure it's not just me. It wants me to login to wordpress.com.

Me five - glad it isn't just me. I've been running in login redirect circles.

Same problem here.
As nicegirlnotes says, it is asking us all for a wordpress.com login. If I give it that login and password (rather than my wordpress.org details, which don't work), then it logs me into stats for my wordpress.com account.
Which is wrong, since I got there from my wordpress.org dashboard. I imagine it might have something to do with this update:
http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/09/30/sexy-stats/
Unless it's some mystifying deliberately implemented feature, I'm sure WP will notice their error and get on it soon.
:) Shaun
I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.
I used to log in to my stats widget with the wordpress.com password. Then the stats display inside my wordpress.org blog.
Now it's asking for a login and I keep getting redirected to my wordpress.org dashboard. Going to WordPress.com and attempting to log into the global dashboard just redirects to my wordpress.org dashboard.

Yes, I also have the same issue. I manage 4 blogs and all have the same problem. One of them I didn't touch for 3 days and the wordpress.com stats just got in error today.
I hope someone can resolve it or I have to think about other plugin.
By the way, does anyone know a good plugin for statistics?
Thanks.

Also having the same problem; fortunately, StatCounter still works. They've got a WP plugin but the free version only tracks the last 500 visitors.

Same here. I'm surprised no on from wordpress has commented on it yet...99% WP works like a dream...and I can live without stats for awhile, but stats are kind of like my crack cocaine...

Worse, it messes up the whole look of the dashboard. De-activating the stats plugin brings everything back to normal. Hope they fix this soon.

Thank goodness farlake posted. I thought I had somehow caused this issue because I am so doh about this whole thing. It's a miracle I even found this thread!
@celopereira,
By the way, does anyone know a good plugin for statistics?
I have never used the WordPress stats so I cannot compare, but I feel that WordPress is good for CMS and Blogging.
Statistics I use Google Analytics which is free, and I pay $9.99 a month for Feedjit Pro
They do have a free offering, but I like the real time live view.
You can have an unlimited number of websites with Feedjit Advanced or Pro. We do limit you to 1 million page views per month, but it's a soft-limit and we will contact you if your websites exceed this limit.
