• Hi, I am just starting to set up my blog, so I already had a theme installed and some plug-ins, and already set up pages but doesnt have post yet. Right after I re-named the wp-config (was that the same term for wp-content?) I lost my site’s theme and all previously installed plug-ins…and whenever I’m viewing my site, it only shows a blank white page.
Is it possible to make those missing themes and plug-ins, or any other files that’s missing to be visible again? And if so, how to do it in file manager?

I’m sorry I’m a newbie and I am so confused. Please enlighten me about this. Thank you in advance…

Right after you re-named what? And why were you re-naming stuff in the first place?

Hi esmi, thank you for your reply, I’m sorry I get a bit confused.. What I mean is the wp-content, I renamed it. Because I installed ithemes security plug-in, and there it says that I should re-name the wp-content, and so I did~~ now I have this problem.. I hope it is still possible to solve this issue

This is a quote directly from iThemes security plugin page:

Note that renaming the wp-content directory will not update the path in existing content. Use this feature only on new sites or in a situation where you can easily update all existing links.

Did you manually rename the wp-content directory?
