   Hello there,

   I verified my site in google webmaster tools. And the search results show my posts. But when I check the sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz, both files show a status of error (X).

   Should I ignore the error status (X) , since the google search shows my site ?

   Also the Sitemap stats show

   Total URLs: 14
   Indexed URLs: 4

   How should i fix so that it indexes all 14.

   There were duplicate URLs in my sitemap.xml (the first 2). I deleted the first URL. This fixed the problem. I referred this thread
