Sitemap frequency settings – daily vs weekly

This is crazy.

I run a pretty large blog about Windows 8.1 with over 7000 posts in it and installed this plugin. I immediately saw that my authors posts were not getting indexed every day.

I couldn’t find a setting for this in the plugin and it seems there isn’t one? I had to go into the code and change the weekly settings to daily where appropriate.

Within 24 hours, my posts were being indexed 15 minutes after they were published.

Not sure why this option isn’t in the core product because it’s real simple.

We publish post, quick index = more visitors = more ad revenue

as opposed to:

We publish post, slow index = less visitors = less revenue.

Am I missing something here? Is it just me or is there a setting I havent figured out?
