    See my earlier post. It killed my login page. Only way to access the site was to use FTP and delete the plugin folder entirely. The login page returned after doing this but I lost all my SEO changes. Not good

    I upgraded and my sitemap is not even showing ... anyone found a fix for it yet?

    I disabled the plugin and then downloaded the older version. FTPed it to the site and then re-enabled.

    If you try deleting the plugin, the settings also get deleted. So just try to disable it.

    Goto "Developers" tab on the homepage of this plugin. I selected 1.4.13 version as that was working for me earlier.
    (Can't paste links here otherwise would have done for the benefit of single click navigation :) )

    I´m also getting a blank page in my sitemaps. I think I´ll go back to the previous version.

    Just to be sure, if I delete the plugin using WordPress Plugin screen, my settings for each post will be deleted as well?

    Mine isn't blank, but I get this error:

    Error loading stylesheet: An XSLT stylesheet does not have an XML mimetype

    Go to Settings -> Permalinks and hit save, that should fix it. The rewrites have been updated and apparently the upgrade doesn't kick the rewrite flush as it should.

    By the way: if your XML sitemap is blank, it's still working, it's just the XSL that's not working, which is the stylesheet that makes it human readable.

    I changed line 50 in inc/class-sitemaps.php to:

    $this->stylesheet = '<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="' . WPSEO_FRONT_URL . 'css/xml-sitemap.xsl"?>';

    and it works now.

    (that was the line from the previous version)

    @joostdevalk:

    Went to Settings -> Permalinks and hit save. Still not working...

    @Chris M. @JoostdeValk

    I guess he's saying that although you can't see it, it works? I'm in the same boat. None of the fixes have worked, and switching to 1.14.13 just leaves me with a ton of 404'd Category pages. :-/ I hope this gets sorted soon.

    Google webmaster gives also errors with 1.4.14.

    Blank screen in other browsers than FireFox. Firefox gives missing XLS file error. Flushing like Joost suggested didn't work for me

    Also having same problem since updating, it has also broken the homepage of the site (using Avada wordpress theme) it shows the latest news title I posted and removes half of the page.

    Great plugin, but any idea of when this will be fixed? I have had to disable it for now.

    Hm and reverting to prior version doesn't work for me either

    I just checked my server and it is now not creating the sitemap at all which explains the 404.

    No caching is switched on and the previous version also does not work.

    I have had a problem with the last couple of releases. I have posted elsewhere, so just trying a different support thread. I am sooo frustrated right now.

    I've done the permalink thing, edited files. My sitemaps are rejected by google now (and organic traffic has take a nose dive).

    A blank line is put at the beginning, which seems to be the error.

    XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
    Location: http://www.3deers.com/sitemap_index.xml
    Line Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://www.3deers.com/sitemap.xsl"?>

    Yes, 1.4.15 seems to do the trick!

    Thank goodness... Not that bad — a day.

    a Blank line is put in the beginning ..
    Where is it in which file, because I can't find it and I still have the error

    @patter38 it seems to be that you have a error the same as me and anyone else, so the problem is not fix at all
