Site works on localhost, but not online (7 posts)

So I'm just finishing up with my first WP redesign... It works great on my localhost, so I uploaded it to my webserver today for further testing, and I can't seem to get it to work.

I manually backed up my db in phpMyAdmin per the instructions here: Moving WordPress to a New Server with Fantastico ... I assume I did it right since all of my posts etc show up in my dashboard and the tables all appear in phpMyadmin.. However when I click on the links on the page, it kicks me down to the index.html... Also when I open a post or a page in the dashboard and press "View Post" it loads up at my index.html.

I'm beyond frustrated at this point; No real clue what I've done wrong. Any chance someone has had experience with this sort of problem and can impart me with the knowledge to fix it?

    Here is the site: http://www.kn-enterprises.com/wpMarquis/
The WP content is the "News" and "Personnel" sections under each division (Energy, Management, Grain and Marine) as well as the "Gallery" link on the far right.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone might be able to give me. I'll be eternally grateful!

    Brandon

Had hoped that it was an issue with my theme being loaded properly, so I unloaded and reloaded it... That didn't change anything.

    Any suggestions?

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Go to settings -> permalinks & click [save] to the permalinks setting. This *may* fix it in some cases as it will create a new .htaccess file.

Tried deactivating all plugins... tried moving them all out of the plugin directory... No luck.

Tried switching themes..... All links still pull up index.html.

I had alot of hope for the permalinks setting, but that didn't change anything.

    How damned frustrating!

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Another oditty.... Even clicking "Preview" on Twenty-Ten and Twenty-Eleven opens a lightbox with my index.html.

    I'm so damned puzzled.

    It seems to be working.

Not sure how your links are set up. Do they link to static HTML pages? The content does change when I click on them.

The News and Personnel links open other pages which I assume you haven't filled in yet. There are no pretty permalinks for those links.

Is all that done deliberately? Or are the energy, management, grain and marine pages supposed to be WordPress pages too?
