Site works on install, but never again

    Hey,

    The 5 minute install works like a charm, but I can never access the site again after I close my browser. I even copied the correct localhost site address, then pasted it again after reopening the browser.

    Why would it only work upon installing, but never again?

    When you open your browser again to access your local site, did you also make sure your local server is running? (XAMPP, WAMP, MAMP, etc)

    I wasn’t running WAMP correctly at the time, now it’s active but I still have the same problem.

    When I run the site in VS 2010 it displays the files in the website directory on the system, but not the Website pages as they should display. Going a step further and pointing to the index.php file only downloads the index.php. It does not display the site. This seems like it should be a simple problem to fix to me, but I can’t seem to Google up the correct question to get the answer.
