Hello, I have been working all weekend installing two blogs. The first is finished, but the second won't display. I've switched back to the default page theme, but I still get "Page not found."
Hello, I have been working all weekend installing two blogs. The first is finished, but the second won't display. I've switched back to the default page theme, but I still get "Page not found."
and no-one can help you without a url to the blog you are having trouble with.
Sorry whooami, I did not know that. Let's call the two blogs Blog A and Blog B. I've been having trouble with Blog B at http://dothage.us/blog I can work in the admin panel, but at the site, the template displays and says "File not found."
Now I'm having the same problem with Blog A, at http://dothage.us/dothagedesigns/ . In each case, WordPress is installed in a directory called "wordpress" under the subdirectory the blog is in.
Thanks in advance for your help. - Dot
If you have your blog here:
http://www.dothage.us/blog/wordpress/
They will NOT display at http://www.dothage.us/blog/
unless you go through the tutorial:

Thanks, Moshu, you're so right. I actually found the solution before reading your email. This was a classic case of failing to RTFM (read the f'ing manual). I hadn't copied my index.php file to the blog directory, plus I had turned on non-default permalinks. Once I fixed those two, it worked fine. And let that be a lesson to me, read the docs! :-D
