    Are you describing an issue where you believe the permalink setting of your site leads to unwanted behaviors of the Facebook plugin for WordPress, including when the Facebook plugin for WordPress is disabled?

    It seems like you described:

    • /my-post/ causes issues in your browser you attribute to the Facebook plugin for WordPress.
    • /?p=123 causes no issues
    • Disabling the plugin does not remove the issue

    Exactly this way, the only solution was to completely remove your plugin…

    Just disabling the plugin doesn’t resolve the issue.
