Support » Fixing WordPress » Site was hacked tonight

  • My site was hacked tonight. Somehow, a user was able to make two posts with a username that did not have admin or posting privledges. I deleted that user and the posts, upgraded to 3.61 but Im still having issues. The top of my site says:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘wp_widgets_init’ not found or invalid function name in /home/mine/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 406
Ive deleted and overwritten the wp-admin, includes, and base wordpress files but its not fixing the issue. All my plugins are disabled right now as well. Any thoughts? I would love to know how that user was able to post as well but one step at a time
