Site Visitor Receiving Two Emails Confirming The Download
-
Hi,
I’m using Contact Form 7 with Download Monitor and Email Before Download to collect email addresses from visitors who download free stuff from my website.
You can see an example of how its working here: Note Taking at Disciplinary Meetings
In Contact Form 7 I’ve set up a form for each download with an email confirmation detailing the specifics of the document and have set these emails to copy to me so I know who has downloaded which document.
In Email Before Download I’ve set the download to be ‘send email’ and have copied the same email as from CF7.
This means that I receive a copy of the email but the visitor receives two emails.
I’ve tried changing the Email Before Download to Inline only but then I only get an email confirming what has been downloaded and not who has downloaded it.
I reset EBD to send email and changed the settings in the CF7 to only send the email to me. But then the visitor received a blank email just with an attachment.
Ideally I want the visitor to receive an email with the document attached and for me to receive a copy of that email.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I need to modify the settings?
Many thanks 🙂
