    Hello,

I've just installed WP on my site, but after few minutes I've just realized that it's so powerful that I can completely replace my site with just one script.
Now, I have a question - I'm sure it was mentioned zillion times, unfortunately the way I'm looking for it doesn't give any satisfying results.
Basically I want to put the WP script in main directory of my website, but I don't want people to see the content while I'm working on it, I'd like to put something like 'Site under maintenance' or similar information, when user approach my site, but at the same time be able to see how does it look for user.

Would someone kindly and in plain words explain what I need to do?

    Thanks
    br
    Mac

Hi Mac, you can try looking into a WordPress Plugin named WP Maintenance Mode. It allows you to easily setup an under construction type of page.
