[resolved] Site title & description different from what shows up on Search Engine/browser (4 posts)

    Hello,
I've worked on this site and for some reason (beyond my understanding) the site's title & description that I have on the General Settings in WordPress is different from what appears when I search for the site on a search engine, such as Google, as well as what appears on the tab/browser info.

I want what I have on the general settings (Sole Searching Long Beach - WE RUN Long Beach!) rather than what is currently showing up on the search/browser (Sole Searching Documentary - WE RUN Long Beach!)

Where should I look to edit the lines that are causing it to read "documentary" rather than "Long Beach"... I don't know where to even begin!

Thanks in advance to the kind & knowledgeable souls that are able and willing to show me the way.

    Cheers,
    Ana

You might check the settings for the SEO plugin to see if there are any conflicts there, just to rule that out first.

That was it!! Thank you ClaytonJames.

My friend installed and worked on that plugin, so I wasn't aware of it affecting the site title & description.

    Thanks again. Resolved! :)
