site suddenly crashing in IE8

    Hi my site is suddenly crashing in IE8, I have turned off all plugins and it still crashes IE8, works fine in compatible mode and FF. My IE8 has a complete break down and needs to restart, anyone able to debug or take a look for me?

    Hi,

    It is generally due to copy contents from word document and paste it in wordpress editor. By default code added should be:

    <!—[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w: WordDocument>…

    Once we remove this code from the post/page wordpress should work fine with IE.

    Also make sure that your theme is compatible with and well design to work with IE. In that case you can check with default theme to rules out theme level issues.
