This may be coincidental but after installing the plugin, my site came to a screeching halt (not responding, server had to be hard rebooted).
Uninstalling resolved the issue.
Could be coincidence.

Darn. Should have mentioned that this was specifically about the "Redirection" plugin.
Do you have any error logs or anything that could be used to find out why?
