Hi guys! I just finished my site-portfolio-weblog http://www.cabanadigital.com/.
I’m new in standard methodologies but I worked hard and the site validates. I’m not a programmer, but I accomplished some modifications on the default theme for match it with the rest of my site (I’m using WP only in the blog section of my site, which is in Spanish, BTW, my native language) It looks pretty well in FF and IE6 but I tried it IE5 (XP) and it was a big disappointment. I was expecting some problems with the box model’s bug, but what I got was a complete mess, my main navigation menu and header simply don’t display at all! This is my principal concern. All criticisms are welcome. I specially appreciate some help with the ugly problem in WIN IE5. If some one can tell me how the site looks in Mac it would be great! A last thing, Do you thing that it would be appropriate or possible make the hole site in WP as a CMS? Thanks you fellows!

.....Can I just be the first to say, WOAH. That site is perhaps one of the best looking sites that run on WP that I have EVER seen. Kudos to you. Simply Beautiful.

    why dont u use the > 50 % of your page ?

i think u only use like 25% of your page space in term of width .

Yeah, that's true. I was just thinking that. Perhaps the content is bit narrow. Lots of blank, unused space on the page. Seems like a bit of a waste.

Well, I'm happy with the large amount of neg-space.... because that enables the graphics to shine. As I pointed out in another thread earlier, each person's expectations of wp particularity vary: for some it's sterility as to look, keying on content (hopefully good content); for others it's shiny hardware (graphical content as it were).

Love the look. Don't know how it will work with tons of content, but I'm sure you'll sort that out as time goes on.

    Bienvenidos!

Thank you so much for your feedback. I take very seriously all your comments and recommendations. Maybe unconsciously my site’s wide reflects the first time fear. Anyway, I like the way it looks. Probably it would gain weight in a future re-design.

Looks great on my Mac! Although I do agree with others that the content should be a bit wider as to avoid scrolling.
