Site returns 404 errors for posts that have never existed

    Hi,

    My site has been up and running since March 2012. I’ve changed some page titles, and deleted others, on my journey to the site layout I now feel content with.

    I’ve tried to keep track with removing old urls through Google and Bing Webmaster tools, my robots.txt file and the redirection plugin. But one problem I seem to have is that I receive lots of 404 errors in the Redirection log for pages that have never existed, and in particular for the blog. For example:

    http://www.mysite/pt​/o-blog-elc?month=feb&yr=2039
    ​www.mysite/pt​/o-blog-elc?month=apr&yr=1970

    Should I ignore these? Or does my blog setup need tweaking to prevent them occurring?
