Site requests FTP password to update? permissions change?

    I’m having trouble with one of my externally hosted sites. Whenever I try to update Wordfence, it halts after creating a temp file and requests an FTP password. The hosting admin claims that permissions are being changed, he thinks by Wordfence as a part of the WordPress update process.

    I run Wordfence on all my sites, and this site is the only one I’m having issues with.

    Any ideas?
