Our site shows correctly in Safari and other browsers, but in IE10 the shading on the bottom sections does not fade out, the navigation shading is gone, and when you click refresh, it refreshes but says waiting for… in the top tab. It worked fine in IE9, this only became an issue in IE10. With nearly 40% of our users now using IE10, we would like to fix this. Unfortunately, the person who developed this site for us cannot be reached. I have some basic understanding and ability. I am thinking there is a problem in the stylesheet or header. Any help would be appreciated. The site is http://www.calvarychapelparker.com. Thanks.

  • The site is quite OK. I could find it nicely displaying in IE (not 10, as I do not use IE, did not upgrade).

Generally, the problem with IE are related to markup errors. But your site is verified clean by W3C.

As regards shading and fading, not every browser reproduce the same site in the same style. That depends on browser config and other factors.

You’re asking the wrong people to fix your site.
Please talk to your theme’s vendors, the people who built your theme.

The site showed fine in IE9. The issues are only in IE10. The theme has been substantially modified by the developer. The developer unfortunately cannot be reached at the moment. The theme probably has updates or accommodates IE10, but updating the theme will cause the loss of customization. Other items online indicate that there may be code we can add to cause it to display more accurately in IE10, but I am looking for more specifics as to this possibility. Thank you.
