   Hi,

   Below is the status of my site map:

   There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.

   What seems to be wrong! Any fast way how to fix it?

   is it writeable? i.e. chmod 666

   Hi,

   This is the problem i don't know much about it. I know html but not php. What do you mean by that? i am so sorry for being ignorant i guess i have to find a way to really get to know wordpress.

   Can you give more info about this. Or maybe some steps to take and where to look if its writeable.

   use your ftp client to look at your site. The sitemap needs to be writeable - chmod 666 to update.
