[resolved] Site looks different in IE (7 posts)

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm hoping for some help - I am just getting my website up and running (content still in progress) and I'm seeing formatting differences between Safari/Firefox/Chrome vs IE. On Safari/Firefox/Chrome, my menu shows up as tabs at the top, my about page text wraps nicely around my photo, and my widgets show up on the right side -- this is how I want it to look. However, on IE, the menu shows up as bullet points, the formatting of the about page is weird, and the widget bar appears at the bottom.

    Can anyone recommend a fix or plugin that will address this issue?

    No, I'm on 8.0...at least I think I'm looking at it correctly. Help --> About IE --> 8.0.7601.17514

    Press F12 and check you're not running the site in compatibility mode, "quirks" or "IE7".

    Browser Mode is IE8 (not compatability mode) and Document Mode is IE8 Standars
