• Hey guys, so currently i have a website and a blog through textpattern, but i dont like textpattern or its layout as much as wordpress. It may be really nice once you learn to use it, but really, i just want to blog, not learn to use the software…

I am running this site on my own personal server from home. my website is http://www.kkuhns.com the current blog link will take you to my textpattern blog.

My wordpress blog i also set up on that server after creating another database would be following this link: wordpress blog

my servers ip address on my network is 192.168.1.100

if i open up my browser on my computer on my network and type that in my site loads up. if i then add the /wordpress to the end, to navigate to my wordpress blog, it loads the page really fast and displays properly. i can then add the wp-admin to the end of it to access the backend of the blog.

if i try to load the blog from my phone on 3G (not on my network) then it takes forever to load, and when it does it seems to come out in an html version only.

under general settings on my blog, the wordpress address and site address is 192.168.1.100/wordpress
my actual site address is http://www.kkuhns.com/wordpress

if i switch it ot the kkuhns.com/wordpress, then it will not load at all very well on my network when accessing the blog itself, or the backend. it will however load when i use my phone.

so my question is which one is that supposed to be set at, the default of 192.168.1.100/wordpress or http://www.kkuhns.com/wordpress and whichever one, how do i fix the problems im encountering?

also, when you visit it, let me know what kind of load times you get and if it comes out like it should, everything is set to default, or if its comes out in a plain html version.

loopback on my network is not currently enabled….

Thanks for any help i can get with this!
