   site is loading extremly slow, i didnt design i bought this off an auction site. any ideas on how to increase load speed? really slow more than 1 min to upload all data.. thanks

   Have you tried:

   -checking with your server if the database server is online / if they have problem at their end, or they made any changes to your account.

   -deactivating all plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?

   If you don't have access to to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

   -switching to the default theme (Twenty Ten) by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes to rule out any theme-specific issue?

   - repairing your database?

   - using a caching plugin?

   -Increasing the memory available to PHP?

   Also see if you have:

   -too many large images? Too many large images translate into more load!

   -too many plugins? Too many plugins translate into more load!

   hey thanks for the advice but im not that tech savvy to understand half of this. i will see what i can do though. i know its not the server bc the site was slow before i bought it and transfered it
