    Hi everyone,

I'm well out of my depth here, and have encountered a real problem with my WordPress site.

    The link is http://www.parringtonreview.com/.

Just about an hour ago now, my site started taking a very long time to load - every aspect, from the Dashboard to frontend browsing.

ABout 40 minutes ago, it went down completely. At first, when attempting to log in, I would get the message "Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress."

Shortly thereafter, attempts to reach the site were met only with an Error 500 "internal server error" page. This is where I am now.

I've done my homework, and turned up a lot of talk about plugins crashing my site (possible, as I have installed a few in the last 72 hours). The solutions usually call for use of cPanel, CentOS and FTP applications such as Filezilla, and other such stuff.

I don't have the remotest clue how to do any of that. The instructions I find to walk me through these processes are totally opaque to me.

As far as I know, I don't have server access, a username or password, or any real connection with my host. Someone else got my site set up with the host I use, and I've not had occasion to investigate precisely what that entailed.

I am, as stated above, utterly unequipped to deal with this situation.

What can I do from here? I haven't got the first idea as to how to proceed. I'm supposed to be releasing this site on Tuesday, and now I'm just in the dumps. Any help would mean a great deal to me.

    Thanks, folks.

    Dan

I think its a server problem with your host .
if you have a backup of your site , load it , it will be fine .

    I have no backup.

If this is a server problem with the host, will it be resolved by them from their end at some point?

You are in such a stage where you cannot do anything without server access. So, try to gain access either contacting your host or contacting the guy who setup the site for you.

Please contact us for WordPress related support after gaining access to your server.

i dont think they will resolve it . Login to your server cpanel and try to find if there is some auto backup . That might help

Fair enough. If there's anything else you can tell me in the meantime, I'd be thankful. Otherwise, I will return once I've gotten access to the server.

    Thanks again, folks.
