Hello WP users,
A few days ago, my site was showing up fine in Safari 3.0.4 for Windows but I just discovered today that it's completely distorted now. I don't know what brought it on - the only changes I've made to my blog in the last few days was installing and running WP-Cache, which I've removed, and then 1 Blog Cacher, which is still installed but currently deactivated due to validation errors it was causing.
The only other changes I've made was changing my Kubrick image names from jpg to gif. I've gone through all the theme files and made the changes and I've double-checked that I haven't missed any.
I've just spent the past day validating all my XHTML (I had 110) and they're all validated now so that's taken care of, but the site's still messed up in Safari.
I've tried emptying the cache and resetting Safari but it's still showing up wrong. I know it's is not a popular browser, but about 4% of my visitors use it so I'd like to make my site compatible with it.
On my Safari browser (in Windows XP), the formatting is messed up and the text goes all the way across the screen, disregarding all style sheet settings (font & format) and pushing the sidebars down. Also, the background and theme images aren't showing up right.
If anyone here is using Safari on a Mac, could you please check my site for me and tell me if it's displaying ok?
Or does anyone know what could be wrong?
My site is:
http://ourfourpenceworth.com
It shows up fine in Firefox, IE6, Opera and SeaMonkey.
Thanks in advance.
