Site has been hacked & back-up not working properly

    Hey folks, I was hacked recently & I thought I would be ok as I had backup files saved on my hard drive.

    I went to Cpanel & removed all files from the domain via file manager & installed a fresh installation of WP.

    I then went to filezilla & uploaded my backup files from the site I’d FTP’d last month. Well it didn’t work, none of my posts, pages or images are showing on the site.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Are you using the same table prefix from before? Or did you setup a new database and perhaps changed the database prefex?

    Hey Josh, thanks for your quick reply.

    No, I never touched the DB’s or anything.
