   Can you tell me if the problem on this site is that it was hacked? The links in the tabber area (featured stories) all have the word "tugalugatron" and a bunch of chr strings in them. Same thing in the dashboard with the "view post" link and other links.

   Yes, I'd say it was hacked.

   Thank you for the info. I think I have fixed everything.

   They had put some weird code into the permalink structure on the settings page. No idea how they got in to do that.

   Anyway, it's fixed, passwords changed, security measures taken and it is now running WordPress 2.9
