   Tried to access my site this am and got this error:

   The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

   Earlier it gave me a Error 500, isn't this a permissions problem?

   check your error logs, they will tell you what went wrong.

   Yes, agreed, unfortunately they don't seem to be available.

   Okay, problem solved! A corrupted .htaccess file.
